Happy Hinamatsuri for all girls around the world! \(^o^)/
Hinamatsuri (雛祭り), also known as Girls’ Day, is a special day in Japan, celebrated each year on March 3.
Platforms covered with a red carpet are used to display beautiful sets of ornamental dolls (雛人形 hina-ningyō) representing the Emperor, Empress, attendants, and musicians in traditional court dress of the Heian period.
This traditional festivity mix up with the modern life and “kawaii” (cute) culture in Japan. Where people prepare delicious and fancy looking dishes, and famous characters join the joy!
